Minnesota Sues Texas Over ICE Agent Extradition

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison sued Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to compel the extradition of ICE agent Christian Castro, who faces assault and false-reporting charges. Abbott has refused to sign extradition papers since Castro's arrest in Texas in May.

Prosecutors say Castro fired through the front door of a Minneapolis home on Jan. 14, wounding Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis in the leg, then falsely accused Sosa-Celis and another man of attacking an ICE officer with a broom handle and snow shovel.
