Nixon Defeats Vindman in Florida Senate Primary

Florida state Rep. Angie Nixon defeated former National Security Council aide Alex Vindman in the Democratic Senate primary despite being outraised $16 million to just over $900,000. Nixon will face Republican nominee Ashley Moody in November.

The November winner will serve the final two years of the Senate term Marco Rubio won in 2022.
