A cargo ship reported being hit by an unknown projectile in the Strait of Hormuz off Oman. UK Maritime Trade Operations did not identify the vessel, its flag or its cargo; maritime security firm Ambrey said the ship sustained damage. No source had identified who fired the projectile.

Iran and Oman reported progress on safe inbound and outbound shipping lanes, but the terms remained unsettled.
