Railroad Retirement Board Amends Two Rules

The Railroad Retirement Board issued two rule changes on Aug 10, 2026: one lets the Board, not the Social Security Administration, pay Title II Social Security benefits to rail workers and their families. The other resets the monthly earnings limit for rail workers on disability, and the notice does not give the new dollar amount.
