Ted Cruz (Sen-R Texas) says he’s negotiating legislation requiring government oversight of catastrophic-risk AI uses.

His negotiating partners are Amy Klobuchar (Sen-D Minnesota) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (Sen-R South Dakota).
