Senate GOP campaign arm outspent Democrats 46-to-1 on ads in August

The NRSC spent 46 times what Democrats did on August ads, using coordinated money the Supreme Court's summer ruling freed from limits. Republicans are now set to outspend Democrats on air in 8 of 9 close Senate races.

• Senate Majority PAC, which took $9 million from Soros-funded Democracy PAC, has pledged $30 million to elect Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI)
