House Democrats plan multi-committee Trump investigations if they win the House, keeping impeachment on the table

Hakeem Jeffries (Rep-D New York), in line to be speaker, said Democrats will "hold the crooks accountable," and Jamie Raskin (Rep-D Maryland), in line to chair Judiciary, called the issues "gargantuan."

Planned lines of inquiry:

• Trump family wealth, including a Russian oligarch with reported Kremlin ties partly funding Donald Trump Jr.'s wedding party
• Civil rights violations against Americans killed protesting ICE operations, and deportations to distant countries
• Kennedy Center closing, private funding of America at 250 celebrations, and USAID's shuttering
