[UPDATE] CNN, Politico and MS NOW ask judge to keep White House ban blocked until case ends
The TV pool is back, but CNN's access is being decided one day at a time
The three barred outlets want the court's block extended past its Oct. 8 expiry until the lawsuit is resolved, while the TV pool has resumed coverage and the White House decides CNN's access day by day.

- Sept. 21 — Five TV pool networks (CNN, ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC) suspended White House coverage in solidarity with three outlets barred from the grounds.
- Sept. 22–23 — CNN, MS NOW and Politico sued Trump, chief of staff Susie Wiles and two other advisers; Trump launched a 24/7 White House streaming feed.
- Sept. 23 — Judge Timothy Kelly ended a hearing on the emergency request without ruling; 78 credentialed journalists stayed barred.
- Sept. 25 — After a court order, the White House readmitted reporters from all three outlets.
- Sept. 27 — The White House left CNN off Air Force One; Real America's Voice took its seat for Trump's Knoxville trip.
- Sept. 28 — Attorney General Todd Blanche defended the ban, which the judge has on hold until Oct. 8.
