Existing-home sales fell 2% from July to August. Sales ran at a 3.98 million annual pace, down 1.2% from a year ago and the slowest since June 2025.
Prices still rising:
- Median existing-home price rose 1.6% from a year earlier to $429,100, an August record and the 38th straight annual increase.
