Service members at Camp Buehring, 25 miles from the Iraqi border, say Iranian F-5 jets joined the attacks and soldiers ran critically low on.50-caliber rounds. The base held about 7,000 troops before the war, most of them moved elsewhere; CENTCOM declined to comment.

CBS News obtained and authenticated video showing Iranian strikes on Camp Buehring, a US base in Kuwait, early in the war.
CBS says it authenticated the footage; the story notes no other outlet has independently confirmed the details. Multiple CBS pages and an NYT video are listed, but the authentication rests on CBS alone.

Soldiers at Camp Buehring ran critically low on .50-caliber rounds during the attacks.
Attributed to service members speaking to CBS. The only corroboration in the sources is an X post (@ApexWireApp) that likely echoes the CBS report.

Iranian F-5 jets joined the attacks on Camp Buehring.
Attributed to service members' eyewitness identification reported by CBS. Stars and Stripes covers the reported rarity of the F-5 strike, but this remains an eyewitness account.

Camp Buehring held about 7,000 troops before the war, most of whom were moved elsewhere.
The story gives no attribution for the figure. It plausibly comes from the CBS report, but the listed Army source (2014) does not support a pre-war 2026 headcount or the relocation.

At least 8 countries have come under Iranian fire in the war.
Unattributed sweeping count. None of the listed sources clearly supports the number of countries struck; the AP and Al Asad sources concern earlier attacks.
