Angie Nixon beats Alex Vindman for Florida's Democratic Senate nod, 750,000 votes to 550,000

Florida state Rep. Angie Nixon won the Democratic Senate nomination with more than 750,000 votes to Alex Vindman's roughly 550,000, despite raising about $975,000 against his $16.3 million. In Alaska's nonpartisan Senate primary the same night, Mary Peltola led the field at 48.0% with ballots still being counted.
