House Democrats say Iran war has passed 150 days and $37 billion

Nearly all Democrats on the Senate Armed Services Committee requested a hearing on extended deployments and troop strain. In an Aug. 21 letter reported by The Hill, nearly 50 House Democrats asked Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to account for a war they said had lasted more than 150 days and cost more than $37 billion.
