DHS inflated voter-roll figure

DHS said its preliminary estimate of 250,000 noncitizens on voter rolls in four states was inflated. The administration had cited the figure to push for proof-of-citizenship rules. DHS did not provide a corrected estimate, so the size of the overstatement remains unknown.
