Measles kills two Pennsylvanians

Two unvaccinated people in Lancaster County died of measles, the first U.S. measles deaths of 2026 and Pennsylvania’s first in 35 years. The country has confirmed 2,777 cases this year, the most since 1991; Pennsylvania has reported 393 cases, including 70 hospitalizations.
