Fetterman calls CNN report on his missed Senate work 'smears' from disgruntled staffers
A Pennsylvania Democrat is already floating a 2028 primary against him.
Fetterman blamed anonymous former aides for CNN's account of his indifference to the job. Chris Deluzio (Rep-D Pennsylvania) said he "might" run against him in 2028, while Dave McCormick (Sen-R Pennsylvania) defended him, pointing to their joint push to replace the Delaware River Bridge.
