Talarico leads Paxton 48-44 in AARP Texas poll
Bipartisan Fabrizio Ward and Impact Research poll of 895 likely voters Aug. 30-Sept. 1, margin +/-3.3 points
Donald Trump told CBS News Texas he will return to campaign for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who cited a $10 million Trump-linked contribution and about $27 million in total ad spending. Texas has not elected a Democratic senator since 1993.
