Putin-linked oligarch paid hundreds of thousands for Trump Jr after-wedding celebration

Umar Kremlev, sanctioned by Ukraine in 2024 over ties to Putin, heads the International Boxing Association and paid through its Dubai-based IB Challenger company for the 50-guest, three-day after-wedding party in the Bahamas.

The tab and the reaction:

• Kremlev rented a private island at about $100,000 a night and paid $70,000 for fireworks.
• Trump Jr. and Bettina Trump called it a generous gift from a friend; Donald Trump said he never heard of Kremlev.
