Maryland's top court puts a Democratic redistricting amendment on the November ballot
The measure eases the state's congressional map rules; it does not touch this year's map.
The court reversed two lower-court rulings and put the amendment on the ballot with a rewritten summary. If voters pass it, Democrats could redraw districts in 2028. The target would be the state's one GOP-held US House seat. Democrats already hold 7 of 8.
