Coroner rules measles killed a 6-week-old in Lancaster County as US cases hit 3,134, the most since 1991
Second measles-linked infant death in the same Pennsylvania county in weeks.
Lancaster County coroner Stephen Diamantoni confirmed the infant girl died in August. She was 6 weeks old, below the age for a routine first MMR shot.
Where the outbreaks are:
- Pennsylvania added 115 cases in the last week, with about 577 in the Lancaster-area outbreak.
- Wisconsin is at 144 cases, up from 26 a month earlier.
- Ohio is at 129 cases, up from just over 60 a month earlier.
