Judge orders DOJ to name who designed the $1.8B 'anti-weaponization' fund
The fund was created by a Trump-IRS settlement to pay people claiming 'weaponization and lawfare' — potentially including pardoned Jan. 6 rioters.
A federal judge ordered the Justice Department to name who set up the taxpayer-funded program. Another judge blocked it in May 2026. Attorney General Todd Blanche says the fund "is dead." But the paper that killed it left off the original signers. So it can be brought back.
