Two Pennsylvania House Democrats called Fetterman "lazy" and lacking "any sense of duty" after a WSJ report on his skipped Senate work
Former staffers say more internal messages are coming.
John Fetterman (Sen-D Pennsylvania) skipped a funeral for slain police officers, The Journal reported. He also passed on meetings with voters back home. One was with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia about Medicaid cuts. He still made time for conservative media hits and pro-Israel advocacy. The Journal drew on leaked texts and internal records. It also used interviews with more than a dozen former staffers and lawmakers.
- Brendan Boyle (Rep-D Pennsylvania): "John Fetterman is a disgrace... a lazy trust fund baby who is too lazy to do the job."
- Chris Deluzio (Rep-D Pennsylvania): "between the laziness, disrespect, and willingness to carry water for a foreign government... this man has no sense of duty."
- A group of ex-Fetterman staffers opened an account, @FettermanStaff, saying the report is "just the tip of the iceberg."
