Cook moves Kansas Senate race to toss-up and shifts North Carolina and New Hampshire toward Democrats
Cook now projects Democrats gaining 2 to 6 Senate seats. They need 4 for a majority.
Kansas, where Roger Marshall (Sen-R Kansas) faces Adam Hamilton (D-KS), moves from Lean R to Toss Up, in a state that last elected a Democratic senator in 1932.
The other shifts:
- North Carolina: Lean D → Likely D (Cook)
- New Hampshire: Toss Up → Lean D (Cook)
- Sabato's Crystal Ball separately moved Alaska and South Carolina toward Democrats
