CBS video shows Iranian strikes on US base in Kuwait as defenders ran low on ammo

Service members at Camp Buehring, 25 miles from the Iraqi border, say Iranian F-5 jets joined the attacks and soldiers ran critically low on.50-caliber rounds. The base held about 7,000 troops before the war, most of them moved elsewhere; CENTCOM declined to comment.

• The footage dates from early in the war; CBS says it authenticated it, and no other outlet has independently confirmed the details.
