ICE unit searched tens of millions of records for noncitizen voters and considered using undercover agents
Internal Homeland Security Investigations reports from May and June, obtained by Democracy Forward, show the agency also reviewed voter-registration nonprofits.
A June 1 report shows HSI reviewed 82 voter-registration groups in Pennsylvania alone and also scrutinized groups in Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey and Ohio.
