ICE arrested over 8,500 children in Trump's second term, more than double last year's pace
Child arrests this year through July ran more than twice the same period last year, per ICE's own data.
Some of those children were held for short stints in hotels and office hold rooms that lawyers call 'black boxes' because they can't find them.
