GOP super PACs pull money from Reps. Kean and Miller-Meeks as the Congressional Leadership Fund raises spending in 16 other House races

The Congressional Leadership Fund and MAGA Inc. groups are triaging the House map three weeks before Election Day.

The Congressional Leadership Fund canceled its spending in four House races, in New Jersey, Iowa, Michigan and Ohio, and raised it in 16, ABC News reports. The Washington Examiner puts the money pulled at $10 million. The cuts include bids to flip Democratic seats in Michigan and Ohio.

The two Republicans losing their air cover:

  • Tom Kean Jr. (Rep-R New Jersey) and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (Rep-R Iowa) are the incumbents losing CLF and MAGA Inc. money.
  • Miller-Meeks beat Democrat Christina Bohannan by 799 votes in 2024.
  • Speaker Mike Johnson campaigned at her Davenport headquarters four days before the cut, calling her a voice that can 'get everybody together.'
