Cook Political Report shifts 18 House races toward Democrats and projects a 9–19 seat Democratic gain
25 days out, Democrats would need only a fifth of the toss-ups to take the House.
The moves include seats held by Mariannette Miller-Meeks (Rep-R Iowa), Zach Nunn (Rep-R Iowa), Scott Perry (Rep-R Pennsylvania) and Brian Fitzpatrick (Rep-R Pennsylvania), and would put Democrats at 224–234 seats.
The toss-up math:
- Toss-ups: 15 held by Republicans vs. 6 held by Democrats
- Democrats need about 20% of toss-ups for a majority
- 5 races moved from Toss Up to Lean Democrat
