ICE vehicle hit a fleeing man, breaking his leg, in a Houston-area raid targeting another man

An ICE officer chased Miguel Parra-Hernandez and hit him with a vehicle in northwest Harris County, surveillance footage shows. DHS says its real target, Jose Mendoza-Cervantes, had a final removal order and was still at large as of the morning of Saturday, Oct. 10.

What officials said:

• Harris County sheriff's office: Parra-Hernandez suffered a broken leg and was taken to a hospital
• CNN separately confirms an ICE vehicle struck a man fleeing on foot during the operation
